Basically, when Bgmi was taken down from the App Store and Play Store, lots of rumours started to circulate. After a few days, another rumour surfaced that claimed BGMI was prohibited by IT Act 69A (the same act that forbade Pubg and TikTok in September 2020), and numerous Instagram accounts tweeted this information.
